Hofstra Girls' Dorm Goes Coed
Written by Andrea Klerides Students living in Hofstra's all-girls dorm were shocked to learn that their dorm would become co-ed next year. Lynda O'Malley, Assoc. Dean of Students, says the decision was both economical and practical as male students were often left without dorms since any empty rooms in Bill of Rights could only go to girls. Overall, students are in favor of the change and think that male students will benefit from the change whether they are visiting or living in the building.
